Hello everyone,

I'm really sorry for being inactive here for around 2 months! I barely had time to update Essentuality, let alone my blog. However, I'm more adjusted to university life now, so I'll try to find time to squeeze in posts as well as visit my dear blog buddies.

As you can all see, Macabre Fixations has a new layout! I got bored of the previous one, so I made a new one. I know that the background pattern is kind of messed up, but whatever. As well, the top part may not tile up perfectly in bigger resolutions (there's nothing I can do about it...it's just that the patterns don't match up, no matter where I crop them). Anyways, I really like this layout. What do you guys think?

So, about university...hm...well, it doesn't feel that different actually. Apart from my feet being sore from walking around all over the place, it's fine. Oh, and I also have to wake up at 6:00 AM in the morning just to get ready and attend class, ugh. Those of you in high school...enjoy your sleep while you can!

I recently went around to all my link exchanges'/affiliates' sites (on Essentuality), and noticed that a lot of them have drastically slowed down in updating since school started. It's expected of course, but still amuses me. People who updated at least twice a month or three times a month are now updating like...once every two months. Haha.

I feel a little lonely, now that my closest friends have all left. I had been looking forward to making new friends at school, but I didn't really succeed...it seemed like when I finally mustered up the courage to talk to a stranger, everyone was already grouped up in pairs or groups. I wasn't this shy when I started high school, so I'm not sure why I'm like this now. It's a little depressing.

I had been expecting university to be zomgwtfhard, but so far, it's been okay. However, I have Physics next term...and ugh, Physics. Terrible. I also found out that my Math mid-term is on Dec. 21, and we go back to school on like January 4th or something. So much for a Winter Break! The school cut our Winter Break because the Olympics are being hosted here in February, so we have a 2 week break then. But it's just not the same...I mean, it's not the happy, cozy, holiday season in February. I want my holiday break, dammit!

I've also decided that I'm going to credit any resources I use in my current layout in the "about" page rather than the credits page, since the credits will change every time. So please don't accuse me of not crediting if you haven't even seen the about page yet, lol.

So yeah. That's it for today.

PS. The spam bots went crazy on my last post. I put in an anti-spam filter now, so hopefully they'll stop. I had to delete all the comments in the last post due to the bots, so if you posted anything after the first 10 spam posts or so, I most likely did not see your post. Sorry about that.
